Hello, I am thinking about getting HoT Ultimate Edition and was wondering if it’s really worth it for the gems?

I usually do buy gems, seems to me basically you paying for the base game and $50.00 worth of gems, and the other stuff is just for free.

As for the Deluxe edition is it worth it as well or if I’m going to buying that better off with the ultimate?

The digital doesnt give much.
The ultimate gems are at a good price.
I bought the ultimate.
IMO it is either the basic or the ultimate.

Buy HoTregular version, and get HBO for $10/month (cancel anytime) to get caught up on GoT as you prepare for the new season to start!

Heart of Thrones is the next expansion when we go after Jormag. Winter is coming…

So, what is a better buy base or ultimate? I do buy gems on a regularly basics when I have the money.

Because I think I be better off, buying just base edition and like some gems.

Think you answered it yourself HoT ultimate is only worth it if you want the finisher, glider, mini? All items I personally didn’t care for, and gems can be bought anytime.

Game of Thorns is pretty neat, 5 seasons so far and season 6 starting april 2016! As far as you can get your hands on an ultimate edition.. do it, Game of Thorns comes with an iron dvd-box version with a poster n stuff, looks really nice. Loved House Mordrem most of all tbh.

It’s worth getting, if you (1) would get HoT anyway, and (2) would get the 4k gems anyway. Because to get this otherwise, you would pay for the ultimate edition.

The deluxe fluff is just a nice addition, the only useful part of it the free character slot (which nets you another 800 gems, if you use it).

Imo, buying just the deluxe is not worth it, unless you want the fluff, but you think won’t buy 4k gems. If you buy the standard, you can still upgrade to deluxe, using the ingame gemstore.

Buy it, you won’t regret it.

I’m pretty sure back when I was puzzling over it, the reasoning I came to was:

• If you want the bonuses (char slot, mini, glider skin, etc.) then Ultimate is a way better deal, cause you are essentially getting Deluxe plus $50 worth of Gems, making the price value more like $125. (This is only a good deal if you are somebody who spends money on gems to begin with.)

• If you don’t give a crap about the bonuses, then it’s kind of either or. Basic or Ultimate. If you’re the type who spends lots of money on gems, you might as well go for Ultimate and get the bonuses. If you’re not, Basic is best deal.

And yes, apparently I think in if-then statements.

I think it would be better to put it this way for standard vs ultimate.

If you buy gems regularly then just buy the ultimate. Even if you don’t care about any of the extra you aren’t losing out or overpaying more than what you would be spending anyway.

I purchased the Ultimate edition. There was a 4 day wait time on the gems for me. But yeah, I bought it for the deal on the gems that I knew I was going to spend anyway.
