Alot of negative feedback here and maybe some of it is justified, but to add a bit of positive feedback I wanted to say that I just noticed the change to hearts – how they appear in the corner of your screen and rattle around like chests when you complete them instead of sending you mail. This was a small, but neat little change that made completing a heart feel more immediately special.
It’s a tiny little thing, yes, but I wanted to let you guys and gals know that I saw it and liked the change. It wasn’t something that got or needed a huge reveal in the blogs, but the person who thought of it deserves a thumbs up nonetheless.

I agree with OP. There are some justified complaints about the new patch, but overall I’m really enjoying it. It got me to come back after a few months of inactivity, and it took WoW an entire expansion to do that.
Very small change indeed but I love it. Now I have to click less when I complete a heart :p
