Guild Wars 2

Hi My name is pezz and i have a fairly simple question.
I recently did the rounds of new MMOs, WIldstar ESO, WoD, Archeage ect.
I had almost given up when i see 15 bucks for GW2 CE . Sure why not right?

OMG im hooked. Its the awesome action of wildstar, the exploration of what ESO should have been and the polish of a 10 year franchise that WoD was.

Now to my question, Im looking to set up roots. Long ones, my last “game home” lasted me 9 years. Now i dont expect anyone to read that far into the future, but how is the population here? Wildstar pops broke my heart. As this game is B2P with cash shop i figure its got to be decent but questio remains….in you experienced players opinions, does GW2 have a long future ahead? Are the servers populated, and trending to stay that way? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Well, I think that particular lament has to do with megaservers and being herded into maps for events, but I do agree with the assessment that the game is doing well. I know that my home server, Tarnished Coast, is frequently (maybe always?) too full for people to join. That’s a pretty good sign that there are a lot of players, to me.

i like the community because there are a lot of trolls, i feel at home

i played on moonguard alliance wow for 7 years, im no stranger to trolls i assure you!
