Guild Wars 2

I just came back to GW2 after a long break. I decided to make a new toon to get a fresh start. I just can’t decide between a Necro and an Engineer.

I sPvP, WvW and solo. Not to much in terms of dungeons but maybe.

Which do you like better and why?

I’d say engineer is an easy choice between the two.

Great in all areas of the game except speed run dungeons, but the necro is horrid at those so win engineer.

But in the future if you wanted to gear full ascended the engineer would also save you a fortune as light armor will bankrupt you likely.

Well technically Necro wins out in WvW and hard counters the Engi in sPvP. I myself struggled between these two, and picked Necro. With all the expansion changes coming, just play what you enjoy the most and you’ll never regret it. What is best at something now won’t always be best at it later.

Both are great, but for anything where you want good mobility, I’d opt for engi over necro.

I played both to level 10 and still can’t decide lol I will probably level the engi first. I like the mobility.
