Help me resume playing with my characters.
I saw people solo certain dungeon path with Warrior, Mesmer, and Thief.
IMHO…. Finish out your warrior, it’s your highest level toon and should get you back up to speed in playing the game, it’s a very forgiving class.
How should we know which one suites you best. We dont know you
Anyways, aboout that soloing thing. Im sorry to let you down but mainly thiefs /mesmers do “Solo Runs” because they can break out of the map and easily kill the champs that way.
So i wouldnt take my focus on that part.
Id say just play the class you enjoy the most.
For me that class was thief. For others its ele or anything really.
I like my characters equally,I’ve tried all professions in the game.. I might resume leveling my warrior since it’s gonna be easier as blanger mentioned and I see around forum .By the way, is the staff mesmer still viable?
Staff is kinda lame for pve mesmer, the meta build for then uses sword, but its great for elementalists.

While I love most of the classes, Warrior was my first for getting through content. With good survivability, damage, and support, it’s a great class for adjusting to the game before going on to more versatile classes like Elementalist

I find staff to be better for larger situations, like world bosses, since it’s more about AoE and support.

If you want to have the most fun kd go with elementalist. It has the most abilities to use with different elements and its actually getting buffed this next patch. You are more active with the character via switching into different elements based on what you need at that time be it healing, protection, crit/speed, or damge,/conditions instead of using the same 2 attacks over and over and switching to ranged when you need to.
