Is there any way to get a sigil removed from an account bound weapon?

i accidentally put it on the wrong weapon… and the sigil was very quite expensive too…. i’m not trying to lose it, but I don’t want to use it on that vanilla weapon either

If the weapon is salvageable and you don’t mind losing it you could use a Black Lion salvage kit to remove it. That gives you 100% chance of salvaging the upgrade.

Alternatively you could buy an Upgrade Extractor from the gem store (250 gems, or about 45 gold) and use that. I think they work on equipment you can’t salvage but I’ve never used one myself so I don’t know for sure.

Upgrade extracter works on anything and will removed the added items (including infusions) without destroying either.

Price it out though. The last time I converted gold to gems the break even on using this was just over 9 gold meaning if the sigil cost less you better off just buying another sigil and copying it over the top,

Well there is also the cost of replacing the weapon. If the weapon is less than 2g then you might as well get a Black Lion Salvage Kit.
