Here’s the scenario- I get an armor drop, I put it on, slap some goodies in the unused slot, and then go to the HoM and pick up the Heritage armor skins… a while later, I get an armor drop with better stats, so I put it on and go to salvage the rune off the Heritage I was just wearing and… nada. Augh! Why? If I hadn’t put the skin on it it would have just been any old armor. I get why it becomes soulbound, but why can’t I get the stuff I put on back off?
