I’m just curious, has anyone else gotten it, or have an idea why they’ve been given out?
I’ve only bought one thing from the gem-store if it’s a thank you or something.

I can’t buy the Mistfire wolf, nor did I get anything else deluxe edition bound.
The chest has 10xp boosters, an 18-slot mithril box, and a choice of Krytan, Profane, or Primeval armor.
I guess it’s a mini-upgrade?

Did you buy the game after the 1st year anniversary?
I assumed not based on the screen shot (level 80, over 100g, Wintersday box in the bag list) but that’s when the Heroic Edition came out and replaced the old regular and Digital Deluxe versions on the website. That box is all the extra stuff for the Heroic Edition.

Necro’d this thread to say…… I just logged in and got one of these too. I never bought the “heroic edition” of the game, and I have been playing for over a year.

No the Heroic Chest is an item that was added to Digital Deluxe and Standard editions of the game bought through the official website from August 2013 onwards.
It contains your choice of Primeval, Krytan or Profane armor, 10 XP boosters and an 18 slot Mithril box.
You’re not supposed to get it unless you bought the game (or the digital deluxe upgrade) after the anniversary. Which is why it’s a bit of a mystery how and why other people are randomly receiving them.
