Hello Guildwars 2 community!

I just came back to the game after a long break (real life business) and I wanted to start all over by creating a new char.
Surprisingly the server population doesn’t seem to decrease ! as I joined I saw that almost every server has a High/Very High population and that’s really nice =).

One thing Shocked me though ,as I was leveling and reached level 5 I wanted to buy a weapon, but kitten prices are so high O.o!

Since I stopped in May/June I guess I missed many updates and nerfs/boosts , how are Warriors now xD?

Most people will probably tell you that Warriors are a pretty sure bet.

Are WvW battles still populated :>?

Warriors are good if you like them. I love mine, but also play a lot on my Ranger and Guardian (mostly Ranger as of late) so don’t feel too bad when you see all the complaining in ALL Profession forums about how they have it worse than all others. Warrior is better than ever, especially better than they were the day you stopped playing-I love how they can survive better now, as before all those high hit points meant little because they generally had a hard time during prolonged encounters.

WvW is server by server case. Flooded or mostly deserted, so if you don’t see many players, it’s not necessarily representative of the whole GW2 playerbase (same with PvE map and Dungeons, actually.)

Money is also kinda easier to make now, so yes things are more expensive, but it probably won’t be hard to gear up your character with the skins and exotic gear you want for him/her.

Have fun! I believe that the game is as enjoyable as ever; just don’t let the optional Ascended additions get in the way of enjoying your adventure.

Blue/Green item prices are up because ANet replaced gear based magic find with account based magic find. This is boosted by http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Essence_of_Luck , and players are salvaging blues and greens to get the Essences.
