Used to be that when I clicked on another characters gear in the bank I would get “belongs to another character”. So now it actually tells me who’s it belongs to now. Good job.

Almost 3 years to change

sprintf(msg, “Item belongs to another character.”);

to

sprintf(msg, “Item belongs to %s”, item.characterOwberName);

Keep up the good work!

I’m looking forward to having a 2nd improvement to the game.

I feel bad for the devs.

Even when people are happy with a change here they’re bitter as kitten.

I used to think (build op, pls nerf) like you, but then I took a nerf to the knee.

I noticed that too! Also I was able to destroy the item with another character. They were something I wanted to get out of the bank but before it was a pain trying to figure out which avie had it so I could go in and destroy it. I am happy with this change.

You can right click and destroy things that are in the bank.

Sarcasm, delivered with a
delicate, brick-like subtlety.

So I guess you didn’t care about any of the other “minor” adjustments to the game then.

1. The preview on the auction house which wasn’t there at launch.
2. The removal of culling so you could see actual enemies around you faster.
3. The account wallet.
4. The changes to crafting which allowed you not to have to have things in your inventory to craft.
5. The changes to the crafting submenus so you could keep your article open.
6. The preview for weapons that allowed you to see them stand alone and drawn.
7. The account wardrobe.
8. The universal minipet system, so you could have a single minipet on multiple characters.
9. Improvements to PvP rewards
10. Improvements to WvW progression
11.

I mean I really could go on. There have been tons of improvements to this game. What I find it sad is that someone has to go out of their way to be insulting, just because they either didn’t notice, didn’t care or didn’t remember earlier advances.

This is why community managers exist. Provide a layer of filtration between the developers and the people they’re developing for so that the unfiltered hate doesn’t rob them of all desire to fix broken stuff for the ungrateful snots who populate forums.
