I don’t think that’s a JP. Players who did that, they called it Map “Breakouts”, specially when needing special tools like teleportation gun. Normal JPs don’t need extra utilities, except what you have on your toolbar, and what is currently presented on that particular JP.

You can do it with sword leap aswell but the special tools give you more savity ^^

What’s with the increased zoom? (actually I know the answer, I just can’t say it)

Jumppuzzles so far are following one rule:
- Every jump is possible without any aid (except special rules apply). That also excludes the dodge jump.

I do not remember any puzzle that required me to use any skills to solve it.
They make it easier, but the intended path was always possible without any aditional help.

Oh, also, JPs always have Chest at the end and achievement that comes with it. So that one doesnt fit the “official” JP. But it’s one of those map breakouts and quite a few has been posted as well. I think it’s pretty interesting to find those breakouts, only if it leads to areas where you see unfinished/undeveloped game contents.

which only go far out so far. Near the end your character zooms out a lot farther than usual.

Yeah, this really makes me wish there was slightly more organic exploration (i.e. no / less invisible walls).

you can glitch out of every PvE map pretty easy and explore most of the areas behind the invisible walls without any hax ofc
you can also easily glitch out of multiple pvp maps and out of all wvw maps and into walls and rocks in there…. which is not really good… and the glitches are still there even though they were reported by quite a few players (and probably even many more than i know)

just explore and find out
its most fun if you find it by yourself

I think you need to get out more hoax…..

There ARE hush, hush areas of Tyria. Here is one in Caledon Forest that was found in June of 2013 and is without doubt an unfinished project even with interactable areas, I have been there a couple times but I suck at jumping so only explored areas I could get to easily.

I’ve been wondering about the legality of “off-mapping”. If you’re just looking around, is it a bannable offense? Do we have any official word on this sort of thing?

Well, considering that a DEV had posted a comment(youtube video) about the video I mentioned about the one in Caledon Forest I would venture to say no(about this one only though).
