It just annoys me to have to see the tail clip through my armor. I would prefer to have the tail hidden rather than it be showing and breaking immersion. So until ArenaNet adds this, is there a way to hide the tail?

I would seriously doubt it.

There are armours that are designed to wrap around the tail, though. Carapace/Luminescent do this, I believe. There are also outfits that have been similarly designed.

I don’t think they’d allow you to remove your tail because it hasn’t been designed to be removed, but also because the tail is an integral part of the charr. Physically, it affects their gait and balance. Getting rid of it would make charr look very strange, as if they would tip over when standing upright. I think that having no tail at all would look more displeasing than having a bit of clipping.

I think if it bothers you that much, perhaps use a different race?

I’d prefer “Always show horns and beards” options. >_>

I’m hoping they can revamp some of the existing armors to add the little tail cover so it doesn’t look so odd.
