Guild Wars 2

Can the GW2 team please allow us to hide OUR pet’s names. I don’t know why this is hard to do. Please give us that option.

I recently noticed this when I turned off player names only to find that my pet still had its name showing, I laughed one of those “wow how stupid” kinda laughs and shook my head in a state of disbelief. They really should make better options for showing and hiding names, and while they are at it give me an option to hide ambient creature names, without having to turn off enemy nameplates, this is another thing that just makes me question what on earth the devs were thinking.

But then you won’t be able to marvel at a name that isn’t “Juvenile X” for the microseconds that it persists.

This has my support, I have all names turned off except enemy ones and I can’t disable my pets names. Pretty frustrating…

I’ve been asking for this since beta, no luck so far.
