Hide the Royal Terrace from non-owners of a Royal Pass.

As the tittle suggests, and as someone that stays there frequently, I can easily count like 3 to 5 new players a day that try to enter into the Royal Terrace only to get kicked out, even if there’s a guard warning, I can see why this could frustrate or confuse new players (sometimes they ask how can they get a pass). I’ve guided many, many players to the ‘normal’ bank already. Maybe hinding what’s in the Royal Terrace (bank, mystic forge, carfting stations, etc.) to those that don’t own a Royal Pass could fasten things up and avoid potential confusion from newer players.

Thanks for reading.

Or they could sell the item again and not take it out of the gem store. Trying to enter the entrance could kick players out and then have the npc say to them something like “if you want to enter you will need to buy bla bla bla” he could then lead them to the Gemstore if they speak to him.

Since when did this business of being a hero become being a business?

If they are not aware of the normal bank location or even its existence, the impression that would leave is: “Want to enter the bank? Pay us!”. Wouldn’t that be the case on many players?

Maybe a dialog such as: “this is a special place which offers all kinds of services confined in one small place for conveniece, if you want access go to: [link to gem store]; otherwise, if you are looking for a bank you can find it here: [link to bank wp], you can find other services such as crafting stations and other merchants around the city.”

I’m just annoyed that my hero is this great dragon slaying, Protector of the Land, but those snooty royals still don’t want to let me in to their precious little pavilion.

They should put a contested waypoint there, with a red glow instead blue.

Hovering over the waypoint would show a message explaining it’s locked until the pass is acquired.
Once unlocked, the waypoint can be used for free from anywhere in the world.

Same for the pirate ship and the home instance. Buy the gemstore item, get free waypoint unlocked.

When I had a bunch of royal passes there was at least one or two people a day who would be outside complaining about having to pay to use the bank.

I’d always link them to the proper waypoint, but part of me wondered how they missed the normal bank/tp :x
