Despite loving Guild Wars 2 and having a 2000+ hours living in Tyria content seems to get short.
At this point we need more end game contents, kittenes.
Living story is a fantastic tool and i love that. It is a good way to improve the world of Tyria, making some events and changing the world. But one thing still getting me angry : why is it still open world things, ruined by zergging fest and not challenging at all.
Lion’s Arch is at the point where it will be destroyed by scarlet, making it explorable. That is good, but being explorable by hundreds of players at a time, it will ultimately be a new zerg fest, like level 80 norn zone witch is being completly bugged out but champions farming zerg.
Why not making of Lion’s Arch Zone an elite zone for 10 players, full of events and challenges, with bosses coming from different Scarlet’s alliances ?
Why not giving players hard elites zones with some challenge ?
I know that instancing is cutting player base to the ground, dispatching them in every corner or Tyria with fewer social aspects but today what will players do ?
Classic dungeons are not challenging anymore, Scarlet puppet does not even giving a worth to try because its success is on the side of a hundred of players witch are not all good players. I tried it, and failed at each of my tries. I don’t want to go to see the 3 headed wyvern because i know it will go the same way. Zerg play is not a way to play MMO in my opinion ; group focused is on the other side. Orr is not challenging, Arah is fully bugged.
I love Guild Wars 2, i love the work done by Arena Net, but i think there is more ways to improve the game, with more challenge. Underworld, Fissure of Woe, and all elites zones were the pride of PvE content of Guild Wars 1, why not doing the same for the sake of PvE in Guild Wars 2.
