Hi everyone,

I’d like to apologize in advance if similar topics are already present.

I am only a casual GW2 player and mostly play spvp on my dagger/dagger thief – so please bear that in mind.

I haven’t played for a bit but after the patch I figured I’ll log in and check out all the changes. After playing around with new traits etc. I queued up for spvp and join a match.

After a while I noticed that most 1v1 fights are way shorter than before. The other day I nuke a thief in 2 seconds, the guy respawned sneaked up on me and killed me in 2 shots (I didn’t even managed to react?). Same with other classes, everything just does so much dmg in short about of time.. before it used to take a bit more to kill other players.

Anyone has similar experience or is it just me?

The meta needs some time to settle. People are discovering new damage combos and in time counters will be found for those as well.

Its too early to say at this stage.

Most likely because everyone is running new runes of strength.

Probably a new influx of horrible PvE players in PvE traits & runes/sigils grinding for the PvP tracks.
