Do loot from higher level mobs/champs give you better loot compared to loot from lowerlevel mobs/champs?

I’d think that would be the case, but haven’t seen it confirmed anywhere.

You can get drops scaled to your level. If you are 20 and hitting somehow lvl 80 champs you get lvl 20 items. If you are 80 and hit lvl 20 champs you have a chance of getting lvl 80 items (not guaranteed). I have personally gotten a lvl 80 exotic armour from lvl 5 mob. Others have gotten precursors (corrected by Flissy).

Precursors only drop the 60+ mobs unless in some container, i.e. champion bags or chests.. Wiki codes are a common thing.
