I don’t know about anyone else, but on rare occasion I try to see what the highest falling damage I can attain is. I’ve seen videos and heard of people taking 1 million and 3 million damage from falling.

What is the highest any of you have seen?

More direct question: Has anyone else seen over 14 million damage from falling before?

That happened to me last weekend. It was so high that the game didn’t even display it and just went from full health to dead without the courtesy of a death animation. :P

I jumped off the giant tree in Mt Maelstrom, don’t remember the amount of damage exactly…. but it definitely was nothing spectacular.

Jumping from the top of Mount Maelstrom racks about 400-500k dmg if I’m not terribly wrong.

3,080 million damage. Falling off Council Chamber in Rata Sum down to it’s very bottom. Requires some manual steering on falling.

I personally achieved over 1 million jumping off the side a Rata Sum! Was fun

I got damages in the 9-10 digits, I don’t remember exactly. If it’s any clue, it looked like the maximum positive value of a signed 32 bits integer (2147483647): the first three digits were definitely “214”. Being in IT myself, it’s a number I can identify and I definitely thought of it when it happened.

It happened after a 15-20s fall when I was pushed off the path of the colossus fractal into the void all the way down to the actual ground of the level. I don’t know why I wasn’t teleported back to the last checkpoint in downed state as usual. The texture of that ground was funny, I thought, as it was a pattern of white flowers.

Happily, I didn’t have the hammer with me and the party went to the next checkpoint before all suiciding. Yes, this happened in the first week of the fractals.

In the end, it was part of a bug. So… does it count?
