Highest place of Tyria a player can go ?
Nice!
Some of the views you can get from those locations are pretty cool.
Smoking some Char grass with a Norn somewhere in Shiverpeak mountains.
How to get there?
The highest place possible should be the mountain where the Priory is, which is only accessible through void jumping. Gliding down from the mountain takes more than 4 minutes to reach the ground assuming you have unlimited gliding and are using speed increases.

That was a cool video. Now I need to go try to mimic it in-game!
Define “highest”?
To figure out the hightest, we must first define what constitutes altitude. Are you talking about highest altitude compared to sea level? Or highest altitude in terms of how far you could fall/glide down before hitting “bottom”?
The fall in Drydock Scratch is pretty darn far.
Also, are you looking for the highest point you can get without void jumping?

Okay, what’s void jumping? Because that video was amazing.

Nobody can tell you what void jumping is. You have to experience it for yourself… by taking the red pill.
Googled it, learned what it is. Guess now the question is, where is the spot to get to that location.

Goemm’s Lab is probably highest but unless you run into the bug you generally can’t fall the full distance so that is something else to consider.
So I was trying the Durmand Priory void jump, and the map-out I used to use (near cascade bridge wp) seems to have been fixed. You get teleported to the waypoint when you relog, instead of under the map. Why Anet, whyyyyy?
Does anyone have another way to get up there? Or what are some other good high points? Drydock scratch is nice. About Goemm’s lab, doesn’t it teleport you if you fall too far?

You can jump out the window in the highest level of the Imperator’s Core in the Black Citadel. That give you a good long glide across the Ruins of Rin area. Another nice gliding spot is in Diessa Plateau on top of the tower that the cattlepult sends you to.
ANet may give it to you.
If you dont use any of the console checkpoints, i believe you can fall the entire distance from Goemm’s lab. takes over a minute or so just falling to hit ground. now whether its a no fly zone is another question. i would assume it is.
you can also jump of the big cube of rata sum, you know where everything is. from there you can glide to the parts around it. big chance you get put in the “jail” but if you glide towards snaff memorial lab, you can fly for a long time
Actually the highest place you can go in the game is on top of the airships in the canopy of Verdent Brink. When you go up there your game will give you a message saying that you are leaving the instance. You are so high that you’re leaving the top of the map. If you jump from there and land allllll the way done below into the vines you will take tens of millions of fall damage lol
That’s awesome. It looks like it’s outside the glider free zone too. Can you actually glide away from there outside the restricted area that would throw you back into the JP?

I think one of the highest places you can go is the top of the lost precipice gh we built a ramp to the highest mountain in lost precipice and its really high (without void jumping)
I just glided to the bottom (water) and it took me 4 mins using full speed boost every time.

we did the same thing with a cloud staircase in gilded hollow! got so high we couldn’t jump without hitting out heads at the top of the map. but as far as natural structures, I’d have to say The arm of abbadon is pretty high. I can glide from one end of the map to the other

Yeah, I was going to say that one myself, if nothing else its the longest current ‘Diving’ location, even longer than the Zephyr Sanctum/Labyrinthine Cliffs one (kitten do I ever miss that map).
