Hints for capes in the future maybe?
I think this thread is along the same lines as the thread that assumed we were getting mounts because of horses in a piece of concept art.
Time is a river.
The door is ajar.
Good find on the sky pirate leader, its a little small to be a cape, but a nice find nevertheless.
Not too sure about the character at purchase site though. I personally think its just an abstract art of Logan thackary and that red thing is just an artistic sketchy thingy.
I dun think we’ll have capes though because of charrs, cause capes would look strange on them, and i don’t think anet wanna spend that work designing a workaround.
Sad really, capes would’ve been very cool indeed.
Give us Mounts, Anet! Pretty Please with Chocolate, Whipped Cream, Cherry and Mayonnaise? d^_^b

Ah mounts.
Sigh if only Anet sells Mounts, Capes and Housing stuffs in the Cashshop like how Rift does it, i’ll be so happy.
I have absolutely no idea why they would think silly town clothes that players can only wear in town would be worth to sell on the cashshop.

@TheDaiBish you might be right, but I think the devs said somewhere that there will be no mounts in this game before the game was even released. The capes on the other hand were in gw1.
When WoW first made capes a big deal, my thought was “is this a superhero MMO?”.
The wallpaper is conceptart. Concept art is the second step in creating new content. The first is a rough outline of a story and the characters and the second part is an artists making an artistic impression how it looks. Then the content designers are going to work to put them together and make it into actual content.
This means it is just an artists impression. Those people are not the decissionmakers when it comes to capes.
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
