I played Gw1 when it was released, i actually just got GW2 because my friends all play it.. anyways.. i logged into my GW1 and went to the HoM and set it all up and talked to kimmes the historian, i linked my accounts and it says linked on the webpage… i logged back into GW2 and i had no portal stone.. i then went and bought a stone from the NPC in lions arch, i arrived at the HoM and Kimmes the historian only tells me about a hero long ago but will not let me see any rewards, is there any way around this? i have a ticket open and they just tell me its been an issue for 3 years and to be patient as they look into a fix still, i googled my issue and see topics from 3-4 years ago with this issue… were they ever sorted out? will mine ever be? thanks.

Hom rewards are disabled currently cause anet botched something. There is no other way to put it.

I believe that the HoM is locked out for everybody right now because of a bug in the instance. I think you’ll ust have to wait until the bug is fixed and you can enter HoM.

If you don’t have a HoM portal stone or deleted it, you can purchase a portal stone from a guy in Hooligan’s Route (northwest LA) http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Hall_of_Monuments_Portal_Stone.

The bug, which granted HoM rewards to people who weren’t supposed to have them, was fixed very quickly. What Anet has to do is remove those from only those players, without causing any other problems. This is not as easy as it sounds, so they’re taking the time to (hopefully) do it right. Rewards are disabled in the meantime.

Not sure how you could see this ‘issue’ from 3 to 4 years ago, as the game isn’t even that old.

Yes, some players do not receive the Portal Stone, but that is easily acquired in-game.

As far as the current reward issue, that is quite recent, and will be addressed once the Devs figure out how to remove mistakenly-acquired rewards fairly with as little backlash as possible, I’m certain.
