HoT/PoF and Living Worlds
I mean, they already sweetened the pot by giving a discounted price when you buy both games together. You could have also unlocked both seasons by just logging in, even if you didn’t have HoT. You can also just gain gold by playing the game and convert that in game gold to gems to buy the living world episodes if you don’t want to spend more money. The living world episodes are also on discount now.

Honestly, they should. They contain so much of the plotlines between core and Hots and Hots and PoF
You miss out on so much information without them

I have them unlocked myself already. I’m just thinking it would better serve ANet’s interests to lure new players to the franchise.
Ya, I think they should at least create a bundle with everything in it together, even if there is no discount for the living world stuff since most new players do not know about it or know it connects the story together. However, on the other hand, there are people who have unlocked only ls2, people who have only unlocked HoT, people who have only unlocked ls3, and people who have a combination of any of these.

^If they bundled the Living World Seasons with the expansions (at an increased price), there would possibly be ‘concerns’ from new players that purchased said bundle, and then found out they could have acquired the LW Seasons at no cost through the Gold-to-Gems exchange.

If they bundled it they shouldn’t increase the price. The point is to entice more new players. They’ll make it up in increased gem sales down the road.
I think they should at the very least provide a full price bundle of the seasons on the shop page just to show players it is something that is available. I know it risks over complicating the bundles, but having it as a tickable option for x amount would hopefully encourage more players to get it and catch up.
(Obviously if they do this already, ignore my post)
Pretty much. S2 and HoT should be bundled together, and S3 and PoF should be together, since they are literally each halves of the same plot.
It is very weird that in order to play the first half of the PoF plot, you must own HoT.
And when will S1 return, so all the players not around in 2013 can play through the game without a horrid break in narrative?
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.
While posting something to my FB page about the expansions I was thinking that they would get more new players to pre-purchase the combined HoT and PoF if they sweetened the pot to included LWS2 and LWS3 unlocks with it.
There should be an incease in price for that then imo. Base game and se2 (× dollars) Hot and se3 (x dollars) PoF and se4 (+× dollars)
Technically they don’t really need to play living story to get caught up. There are “story recaps” that convey most of the important stuff to get them marginally up to speed. Even then, grasping the plot points of LS does heavily rely on the player knowing at least something about Guildwars lore, both past and up to the Pact arc.
Speaking of which…. they really should make it a point to improve the Recap movies, and do one for each story arc, including the Forming of the Pact, if the player decides to jump straight into HoT or PoF starting missions.

Bad on me for not quoting; I was replying to the post directly above (hence the little up-pointing arrow). My apologies.
