That would be a no for me… they have not revealed nearly enough content and features to justify charging $50… maybe $20…

I doubt it’s gonna cost 20, especiall on initial release. As you see some ppl are willing to pay more, and Anet is barely getting money in from the normal game anymore (10 euro per account on discount days). Also I think you may see 1,5-2 full year with the full team (no living story proves that imo) work on this campaign. It’s more likely 30 or 40 (but then with a quick discount later on). 50 is indeed high almost as much as normal campaign so quite expensive.

Also remember some shops sell heavely under MSRP. I remember gw2 being 60$ but you could get it kitten in certain online shops.

It’s currently listed on Amazon.de at 45 Euros. That’s $50 or so.

Yeah, I’m thinking my max will be in the realm of $30 US. Even $35 is pushing into full-fledged game territory.

I don’t see how this minimal expansion pack is possibly worth the cost of a full game. if it’s $30 or less I would be tempted. Will not buy a small new map for $50.

It’s Amazon’s listing, so it’s definitely not fraudulent. They most likely put it up too early on accident.

That. The German amazon HOT item has been posted since February. There’s no way it’s legit.

I believe the $50€ price came from an analyst who SWAGed that number and used it to estimate the boost in NCSOFT’s earnings for the later half of the year.

I too doubt that the price will be that high. $20-30€ I can believe.
