A.K.A. – Is there any reason for me to come back?

I spent so long attempting to find a class that suited me and I never could. There was always something about every class that I just couldn’t bring myself to enjoy while playing (primarily kits for engineer) so I just stopped playing. When I looked at the features of the expansion it didn’t look like enough for me to justify the pricetag.

Is there any reason to come back without buying the expansion? Like the new weapon/class combinations perhaps?

…you must not have read over much of the information when “justifying the pricetag” because if you did you would know the new weapons/class are only accessible after buying HoT. Which you said you aren’t intending to do. So, the answer to your questions is no. You didn’t like core game before, you wont like it now since it’s the same.

Its basically the same thing elites and new map are all the same just different look and effects but the same, lots of bugs they wont fix like nightfury the game crashes more after the expansion. I dont know why im still playing because my main warrior is the weakest spec and all the things i like are buggy. I hope they make gw3 now and enough with expansions that are buggy anyway with a costs of slight changes of the game that focuses them gettig big money

Sounds like you did not enjoy the base game. Without HoT you don’t have much more than what existed. They revamped some areas like fractals and WvW, but other than that I honestly would say it’s not worth your time. Especially since you didn’t find any of the classes enjoyable. I mean, that alone is enough of a sign that GW2 isn’t for you.

I won’t stop because I can’t stop.

It’s a medical condition, they say its terminal….

If you didn’t enjoy the core game, if I’m allowed to be honest here, you won’t like the expansion either…

It’s pretty much the same stuff, just new things that expands the core game. You also need HoT to play class elite specializations.

What I like about HoT are the elite spec, and the gliding… wish there were more gliding. I feel like I’ve rushed it in the first week, and now I need another mini expansion already ._. Or for raid to come soon.

Please nerf bag types instead of class skills!
