Anet has said previously that Magic find increases the drop chance of trophies. Guild Gathering boost increases chances of finding rare materials from mining, logging, and harvesting.
My question is would ether the guild magic find or the guild gathering booster be better for acquiring the trophies used for scribing from logging and harvesting?

You should test it. Choose a path to run every day for two weeks. First week, use MF. Second week, use GG. Let us know how it goes.

Personally, I think the better bet would be GG. It couldn’t hurt to throw on a magic find booster or food in addition.
