I thought it would be a good time to help explore how to quit the game in style..

Step 1: Arrange a party via Reddit/Forum
Step 2: Sell/Give away all your stuff
Step 3: buy random stuff with gold
Step 4; Sell all that stuff
Step 5: Repeat steps 2-5 until broke
Step 6: Arrange a charge back so you get perma banned for life,
Step 7: go travelling in the real world- it’s a true living world out there where the story changes every day.

Or you could just press the X on the top right of your screen and not burn any bridges in case you might want to come back later?

I never understood why people jump to uninstall so fast for example. Its not like hard drive space is expensive these days

It’s only a game. It does not require any grand gestures. <shrug>

In a world of streaming kitten and narcissistic instagram self lovers who have to share their whole personal life with everyone in order to achieve approval from the internet community I don’t wonder if people will do it like this.

And then the next expansion is frikkin amazing and you miss it or start over. lol

I usually light candles, close the door so me and my copy of the video game are alone and then recite a small sonnet.

If one does not want to be mainstream, he/she can quit the game… silently. Like if nobody cared. It is not so usual these days, but full of style.

(on a side note it is most of the time really true that nobody cares… at all !!!)

Or maybe instead to be kitten for people that still want to play, you can just quit without QQ on a forum from a game you don’t even care anymore.

I don’t think there’s such a thing as quitting in style. Whether something enrages one to the point of “screw this, I’m done”, or one slowly drifts away from it until they realize they have no desire to continue, it tends to just feel bitter.

OP, I don’t share your definition of the term “style”. In my book “style” with regards to quitting a game that cannot be quit since there are no subs at all would be “relax, take a break, don’t look back in anger”.

hehe, this might be how I eventaully quit :P just shout in map chat “who wants a precursor?” then send everyone rage/venom/carcharias

I thought the meta stylish way to quit a game was to make a post on the game’s forum and go all diva on it.

Look at all these whiners, either indirectly defending the game or indirectly denying that they don’t go out enough, lol.
