I don’t know if it is a bug… hence why I didn’t put this in the bug forums. But if PU makes Veil last for 3 seconds… and you increase Veil’s duration to 8 seconds… wouldn’t you logically be able to cross through Veil 3 times? But for some reason. I can only enter it twice. Anyone know what is up with this?

Cause I don’t know… last time I checked 3 + 3 = 6

What do you mean by “I can only enter it twice”?

What happens when you try to walk through a third time?

A swat team drops into your house, and if you tell them you want to still pass a third time; well no one knows what happens to those people…. Twice is safe, don’t tempt fate.

On a more serious note:
Time: 0
Lay Down Veil
Time: 1
Veil ticks you into stealth (it ticks every 1 second, so you are probably missing the first tick at 0)
Time: 4
Stealth breaks
Time: 5
Veil ticks again placing you into stealth
Time: 8
Stealth drops veil vanishes.

Basically, my best guess is that due to the fact you can’t restealth when already stealthed by veil, it is preventing you from getting the extra tick you want. You could do it fine without PU.

Good luck, and maybe an actual mesmer could chime in their experience, as I’ve never played mesmer, but I have used their veils.

I have absolutely no idea what PU or the Veil is, but logically, if you can do it ONCE in 3 seconds, then you would only be able to do it TWICE in 8 seconds, because you would need 9 seconds minimum to be able to do it 3 times

Hopefully some kind soul will come along and tell me what I’m talking about LOL

PU is Prismatic understanding, a mesmer trait that increases the duration of all stealth on the mes by one second, along with giving him random boons when he enters stealth.

Veil is a mesmer skill that drops a line on the floor that any player can cross to gain 2 seconds of invis, (or 3 with PU trait)
