Guild Wars 2

I wanted to ask, if you use the wings it asks if you want to “transmute” an item. Once this is done, can they be removed? What if you find new armor 10 minutes later? What is the best way to use these so they are not wasted?

I’d suggest holding off until you’re absolutely sure you want to apply the skin.

Otherwise I’d hold onto a level 80 transmutation crystal just in-case.

Can you apply it to (in town) clothes so its more permanent? Thanks again for the response.

No, only armor backpieces. Skin it to a statless back strap item if you want it /now/ (these come with some of the charr and quaggan backpack SETS) which will keep it account bound, or hold onto the skin until you grab a backpiece for gold or karma.

I’m getting the hint that you believe the skin will apply to your chestpiece. It applies to your back item, seen in the lower right of your Hero sheet.
