Holosmith skill effects are really obnoxious
I disagree engineers sourly needed a spec that wasn’t kit reliant, they finally get one everyone gets salty. Not an engineer player either.
I say leave them be and buff the other specs to there relative level.

He means the effects are too visually noisy and distracting. Which they are.

My bad i thought, he was salting out because there’s alot of hate about holosmiths going around.
There is a mute toggle, it’s already on your pc. Then the sliders to tone down your graphics via settings. The engi is fine, eversince they toned all the skills and effects down ALOT, the engi only seemed subpar from there, till now.
Well the hate comes from them basically SPLARGING damage around in a obscene AoE cluster-f. I’m looking forward to running around with a mass stealthing mez or thief with a few other holosmiths so we can hate bomb people for funsies before they nerf that damage.

Please no. Not that I don’t sympathize with people who have trouble with visual issues that can effect them physically, Anet tends to overdue it when it comes to “cleaning” skill graphics. Take for example Mesmer, Guardian, and Ele. When the game came out those professions had very striking and interesting skills. Some were a bit over the top, but now look at them. Core skills are reduced to simple rings and a few fluttering pixels. Holosmiths skills look amazing and I would hate to see them reduced to nothing more that a yellow/orange outline.
