So, by getting superior runes of scavenging, equipping 4 ascended items with the +20% gold find infusions, and munching on some omnomberry bars, you can get a whopping 135% gold find! Wow! That means that bosses in dungeons that used to drop 10s will now drop 23.5s. And that’s just the start! Imagine a character fully equipped with ascended gear and +20% gold find in every slot. That’s potentially 315% gold find! Bosses will be dropping over 40s each!

The +20% Gold Find is for utility infusion slots only. Note that the only utility infusion slot we currently have access to is in the Ascended Amulet item slot. That means that the maximum you can currently get is +40% (Omnom Bar) +20% (Infusion) = +60%.

Are there rings with utility slots? I thought only the amulets had that so far.

What? All Ascended items have infusions slots. Amulet, two rings and the backpack pieces.

Total of four.

There’s 3 different types of infusion slots. Offensive, Defensive, and utility.

The only items with Utility infusion slots are the amulets, at the moment.

Forgetting Runes of Scavenging in your calculations. +15% from 6 of those runes. which gives us +75% as the maximum you can get currently.

Hrm, +105% isn’t bad. I wonder if the 30% Coin Booster lasts for a long enough period of time to make it worth it.

The first question you have to ask “is this worth it?” is ask yourself if there’s anything else you want to get with laurels.

There’s items you get with laurels, but can’t get with gold. So by converting laurels into gold, there’s an opportunity cost.

I can answer that as soon as the mystery behind Mystic Binding Agents is solved. Other than those, I have very little interest in anything else.

Yes, and it looks like this: everyone starts earning more gold more quickly, and so the prices of everything on the trade post end up rising.

even with that calculation how much per hour can you make in AC or CoF? Can you make 4-5g per hour, which is easy done in fractals with agood group. As much as MF is frounded upon most of the money made in fractals is from loot, so the MF utility would be better.

But isn’t the loot from fotm mainly from chests?

Some good loot drops from mobs too, depends on which fractals you get really, dredge is probably the best loot fractal.

For instance today I did lvl 26 with pug group, took maybe 1 hour 20 minutes, I got 1 charged lodestone, some cores and bits from chests, but i got 1 exotic, 6 rares and almost maxed out my inventory with blues/greens.

Made 8g of the stones/cores/exotics and rares alone, i usually breakdown or forge the rest and put mats in collectables.

EDITED: And I can honestly say I dont use any MF gear, i will use MF food on some mobs thou.

Really is worth the time spent once you get to 20+
