I know this has been the topic of a lot of threads which has lead to a few questions that have been brought up not never clearly answered, any clarity would be nice but I can understand if it cant be answered.

1 Are there factors that help or hurt your rng chance at character/account creation

2 If 1 is true with it remain with that said factor or multiplier or will it change over time

3 in future of gw2 will hard work >rng be common or balanced or rng > hard work

That being said I know you cant please everyone, but still really enjoy the game; thank you for the hard work put into making this game, listening to our constructive criticisms, and trying to allow most everyone to have fun. This is a question about RNG thread plz no complaints there are many other threads for that.

There is no hidden “Luck” stat. RNG is RNG, you can modify the tables that RNG goes through by increasing your Magic Find stat (only on Non-Chests!).

your comment might make sense if it wasn’t same people always claiming to be lucky or unlucky, but don’t need any people defending something that they cant know unless they made it thank you!

If you think logically about each of your questions you will probably realize that

1) is very likely a ‘no’ and nobody outside of Anet would be able to answer with more then a guess, so its a pointless question

2) you already arent getting a true answer for 1 anyway, but lets assume you believe then again, this question can only lead to guesswork outside of Anet employees who will never respond to something like this

and finally 3) again asks for blind guesswork for anyone that doesnt have a pimped DeLorean at hand. So guessing from everything they’ve done in the past, RNG/luck > effort/skill.

Have fun debating your various guesses and the reasons why you guess as you do, there wont be any facts on the matter.

AGAIN people try to act smart and don’t read IDONT WANT GUESSES so I posted to get an answer from the people that implemented the system code. So why did you post w/o reading…….I would rather the post stay completely blank and unanswered than having random people guess or post things like above. It was posted for a fact based answer not guesses please read above.

So you’re not asking the players, but you’re asking the developers, which, in accordance to the rules of the forums is not allowed.

Do not engage in staff call-outs. Using the words “ArenaNet” or any staff member’s name will not expedite the answer to your query.

Do not post petitions, “I demand an answer” threads, conspiracy threads, or comments about circumventing the rules.

Yet another person who doesn’t read I AM NOT CALLING ATTENTION TO THE THREAD BY CALLING THEM OUT USING WORDS SUCH AS: ANET, DEVS, GM, OR AND STAFF MEMBERS NAME! If asking a question without calling attention to it is against the rules its a grey area and they would close the thread; as such I have not demanded nor engaged in calling anyone out. Just a general question that I asked and even posted if they couldn’t answer that is OK come on people READ or think before you post. Enough with the useless replies; they will either answer it or they wont so stop, think , and let people who know answer or don’t it is up to them if they decide to answer or not, don’t need your posts needlessly wasting time and space.
