This post is only for suggestions I don’t want to argue with anyone or try and “one up” anyone. This is only for ideas if anyone has any for finishers.

As I look through all the finishers I notice their are not too many finishers that honor the fallen or look divine. Don’t get me wrong their are a lot of really cool finishers atm but most feel like “haha I killed you” type finishers rather then “you were an honorable opponent” type of finishers. One of my favorite finishers atm is Whump the giant lol when ever I see him used I tell myself “yeah you just got owned” which is cool but I don’t always want that to be the message I send when I defeat someone in battle. Can I suggest a finisher maybe like a Valkyrie? She comes down and takes the spirit to Valhalla? Or maybe one where after you use the finisher a spirit stands up from the fallen enemy and bows or something? lol just a few ideas but i’d really like to see more finishers that are not only saying “haha get owned n00b”.

Like I said before I know their are some good ones like Ascalonian-Leader or Sanctified atm but would like to see a bit more like those.

Nice idea. I’d love to have a Finisher that says “GG” or “Well Played Mate”
Why are finishers all so aggressive meh~

Yup, they should make more “respectable” finishers.
The Valkyrie suggestion sounds awesome.

When thinking of it I was imagining a warrior dual axe Norn using it…. What a sight to see.

Sanctified looks cool

Pity my finishers are bugged and keep reverting to flag pole impalement

I haven’t witnessed many finishers, but I do agree that the ones I have seen (maybe around 20 or so) all come down to, “get rekt, noob!”. I would like to see a more respectful finisher as suggested above. It would allow players to show some respect, like, “Good fight!” or, “You did well, let’s fight again sometime!”

The normal flag impalement seems (in my opinion) to be the most modest of all finishers.

Phoenix and the store bought dragon is also pretty neutral in my opinion.
I use the mad king finisher because Halloween is my favorite event in GW1.

More docile finishers would be nice too

This is a really nice idea.

Come to think of it, I believe there’s a finisher called “sanctified finisher” or something where you simply give the fallen a nice sendoff as a winged spirit hovers gracefully overhead.

But I agree that while there are some awesome finishers, it’d be cool to have some honorable ones as well.

Good idea, friend.

I don’t often need finishers either, but Valeri The Valkyrie would certainly use something along those lines!
