Hopes n Dreams about Expac 2
Don’t put your hopes on a new class. Now that we have 3 classes of each armor type, I don’t think we’ll ever see a new class in GW2. I could however imagine an elite-spec for Warrior specialize in brawling. In GW1 we had a pair of daggers that looked like knuckles, which could happen here again.
I’d really like to see the long overdue overhaul on underwater combat, a playable Largos race and an underwater city. But that’s more likely to happen in expac 3 or later. Expac 2 will be about Primordus and Jormag.

wow i love what you said about the warrior and the daggers of gw1. They speculate that the next warrior elite will be a double dagger class called spellbreaker….which sounds a lot like a brawler to me.

I’d also like some underwater stuff. So many story/mastery possibilities there. And it’d also be nice to find out more about Deep Sea Dragon already. They could at least add some lore about him in the game (as text, or in some dialogue, whatever). He’s been MIA since the beginning of the game.
I want to see 2 new elite specs per class. With 3 elite specs to choose from, people would finally be able to change how their class fundamentally plays by choosing which spec to roll (which is what I believe elite specs were meant to be).
A rework to almost all skills and traits in the game (though hopefully it comes sooner than the next expac), as well as the mesmer class being redesigned. Most if not all auto chains should have all condis and boons removed from them.
A lot of new achievements. I want at least 3,000 AP spread out throughout the next expac.
Bestiary (practically the same thing that Wooden Potatoes came up with)
Reduce boon/condi duration to max out at 80%
Reduce the amount of skills that do everything in the game (like SotM)
Reduce the amount of passive procs of everything. Passive heals, passive blocks, passive invulns, passive condi application/boon application etc…. It all needs to be toned down.
Change all traps in game so that their CD starts after they are activated instead of when they are placed down. Make them a small channel to place down, and balance around that.
More elite specs.
More skills.
Build Saver.
Crystal Desert
And a story-line that involves my Asura absorbing all of the magic from all of the Elder Dragons and using it to enslave all of the other races (and less intelligent Asura). Asura master race!
…
I mean…a pleasant tale where we save the day from evil baddies. Yes…
all i want is an expansion pack amount of new armour skins.
the rest of the Xpac could be horrible and i’d still be happy if they give us a decent number of armours.
some plain, dropped by random mobs.
some flashy as rewards for quests, special missions or bosses etc.
just more armour!
on the side i would like another elite, and getting crazy/ambitious maybe a new class.
i’m not too bothered about a new race, it would be a lot of effort making a new starting zone and quests, and animating them out and then making all of the current armours/lamefits fit their model.
My hope and dream for Xpac 2 is that Anet will be able to deliver on what they advertise. Please no more grandiose announcements on what the next xpac can deliver only to be told they are “stretched too thin”.
It would be nice if at least 95 percent of the content is available on delivery day and not have advertised xpac content released at some enigmatic time after launch.

Yea they really messed up on that one. Luckily Anet has been making a big comeback. I sympathize with Anet, they went through difficult times. I’m sure that next xpac will be really big at launch, but something tells me that whatever continent comes with it….it be explored through content updates. Remember that Anet doesnt just throw a entire world map in with some cute little designs and a ton of random quests. Each map in this game has a meta, currency, sub-objectives, etc etc., which is much more complicated than your typical MMORPG map.
I just really want the developers to sit down and do another overhaul on profession traits and core specs. Even as far as making the 5th traitline of core specs into an elite traitline where it has to be the 3rd option and cannot be slotted with expansion elite specs.
Cut down on power-creeps while making traitline choices more meaningful, and fill in the missing utilities for professions, like a Signet elite for Thief and Ranger, and Elite Well for Necromancer.
I hope the trait system would step back a bit for more customization and niches. Have it so we can slot adept traits in master slots, and adept and master traits as grandmaster traits like before, with the above mentioned trait overhaul to balance things out.
New maps, events, items, and elite specs are a guarantee with new expansions, but I really want the core professions to be more fleshed out and be able to stand more on their own; not left in the dust for the next shiny new thing that comes along.
Will update once Path of Fire releases.
I can somewhat agree with what I’ve read so far. I’d like to add the need for new armor skins. NOT just 4 or 5 sets im talking about 10 plus. Make them difficult to aquire BUT also make sure they dont follow the light armor-skirts, medi armor-trenchcoat trends.
Also I’d like to see elite specs which are designed keeping PvP combat in mind as well. The HoT elite specs caused so much power creep and promoted skill less gameplay in my opinion. It’s honestly so bad the balance patches can’t even fix it. Damage is done, lets not make it worse by attempting to make new elite specs feel more “powerful” than the last. Encourage build diversity, not a pileup of “newer strong better”.

LMAO I swear if i get another generic trenchcoat or light armor skirt, im gonna rage!
My hope and dream is that we will not need mastery points to level the new masteries. That would be great.

I would like maps with less lag. And maybe more single player content instead of maps that encourage zerging.
[????] – HoD
Blood magic supportive healing specialisation for necromancer.
Other than that, I don’t care, I just want a viable and fun blood mage build and for necromancers to actually have a spot in the supportive role
My wishes are(brace yourself is a quite long list ) :
-Tengu as a playable race
-Going to Kourna and elona other then the Crystal desert
-Ride the Junundu like in Gw1
-Have the Dervish coming back as an elite spec with the scythe as a new weapon
-Have the Ritualist as the supporter elite spec for the Necromancer.
-Proper single mission introducion to the elite specs.
-Have the players characters talk between them in the main story so that the other members of the party don’t feel like just random bystanders.
-A branching, interesting and long storyline, with meaningful choices like the main story(the orders storylines), so that it makes sense to replay the full story. I’m missing this so much in Hot…I just played it once and that was it.
-BUILD SAVING
-Normal camera mixed with the pointing and auto attack of the action camera.
-More armors that we had in Hot.
-Dungeons to come back
-Small group contents (2-5 players)
-Slap Braham in the face…with a chair
-Activities being a proper Pvp mode to play with a party
-Activities like keg brawl to be implemented as guild activities.
-Hidden things with clues to find.
-A cool final boss fight not like the tiny Mordremoth at the end of the Hot story.
-Did I already say BUILD SAVE?
Humm and that’s it for now.. well it wasn’t that long of a list in the end
(edited by Dantert.1803)
All I want is an open world housing like Dark Age of Camelot and Vanguard had. Please no junk like Evequest 2 instance housing
And a story-line that involves my Asura absorbing all of the magic from all of the Elder Dragons and using it to enslave all of the other races (and less intelligent Asura). Asura master race!
Now this would be great

THANK YOU for someone else wanting to see Elona besides the Crystal Desert. Everyone goes crazy wanting to see Cantha again (which I still fully support) but Elona was always my favorite. I went back to play GW1 again and was loving my Dervish.
Totally agree with you on the story parts as well, I only cleared the HoT story once- besides repeat instances for achievements- and have no desire to do the same story again. More options would be a godsend
Everyone goes crazy wanting to see Cantha again (which I still fully support)
Agreed. Would love to see Cantha again.
Would also like to see better character customization. For example the ability to customize body as well. If you compare what GW2 has to Black Desert or Blade&Soul customization, then it looks pretty simple.
giving how the last expan pack went ahh honestly at this point i hope they do not do
this at all. and if they do it. they will have to do it 100 x more better than the last one
before i will even think about it much less even think about spending a penny on it at
all . unless it was something that blows the mind to the point . with things like
directx 11 and 4k support . and far more better open maps that do not kill you like
some of the hot maps do . and with no meta events at all or no world bosses at all
no group events at all . and 200 x more pve content then just maybe it might be
worthy of giving a look over and maybe even getting it otherwise . giving the way its
been . not happening again at all after the last pack disaster
I would say release 2 Elite Spec per Profession so each Profession can have 3 Elite Specs to choose from thus providing a actual choice to what players want to play as in the 2nd Expansion involving Elite Specs.
Also I hope Engineer get a Staff Elite Spec and it being a technomancer theme type Elite Spec. The game push a lot of advancements in Magic Technology as a means to fight the Elder Dragons and other type of threats during the major campaigns or events so it would be fitting that Engineer has a Elite Spec that specialize in using Magic Technology.
I hope there are significantly more maps at the beginning (6-8). Those maps should have simpler mechanics and not revolve around meta events only.
Also some dungeons, say like 4-5 new dungeons. Where is this? Every MMO gives simple and fun dungeons without any gimmicky stuff like we had on the latter iterations of dungeons.
‘would of been’ —> wrong
I’m not a fan of the HoT tiered maps (canopy design). Give me larger more expansive maps.
From expac 2 I want:
- Kodan or Tengu as a playable race
- 8+ new maps
- new elite specs (that’s pretty much sure thing)
- 10+ new armor sets in all weights
- epic dragon battle
- housing and revamped decoration and trophy system
- fishing
- reputation system with exclusive rewards
- Rytlock to finally tell us how he got his revenant powers (no more “Later cub”)
It’s quite a lot. I don’t expect it but this would be a dream expansion for me.

New race! Time to tengu.
I don’t know why everyone always wants a new race as well as more armor sets, it will be one or the other. ANet already has enough trouble making armors that almost fit the current races. It would take them even longer to make new armor sets if they also had to fit on a 6th race, which means we would be getting even fewer armors in the game.
While the whole game offers a beautiful splatter art on menus, windows and on the status bar (in combat yellow splatters, in water blue etc.) I’d wish to have a more fresh-looking HUD. I don’t want it to be crowded, just like it is right now, but this health orb looks like HeXeN or DooM from 1993. I’d prefer a big health bar in the corner of the screen with a nice “flow” effect as if the gauge is full with blood/liquid.
Right now; I can draw the status bar in paint and many people I know look at the screenshots and say it looks dull. Which is kinda right.
Excelsior.
and politically highly incorrect. (#Asuracist)
“We [Asura] are the concentrated magnificence!”

All the popular prospects for new races share most of their assets with one or more existing races (tengu share most of their assets with the charr, for example, and largos with humans/sylvari), so much of the work for armor would already be done.
Mark me as one of the people who wants a new race, as well. I love creating alts.

Easy if the new race would be largos. They basically have human bodies. Of course they have these wings, but how is that any different from other wings/backpacks?
They could make a nice new race (if underwater dragon ever becomes a thing)

I would love a new race but I’m fairly certain we’ll only get one if Gw3 becomes a thing. With that said, I hope they open up the Tengu area as an explorable area/city (the large walled in space with Tengu guards all around it in the maguuma/kryta area)

You, sir, understand how to life. The only thing I’d like to see in addition (I know its a lot for 1 xpac, I mean over probably 2) is mounts. I know, I know; it doesn’t need to be useful. Honestly, I just want a more in depth toy system that allows for easier access, collecting them (wardrobe!), and more types (dragons, monsters, devices, toys, etc.). flying creatures can just flap right above the ground, no need for a flying system. And please, if you expand on toys and make them into mounts, let at least a few be obtainable outside of gemstore.

My wishes are(brace yourself is a quite long list ) :
-Tengu as a playable race
impossible, its about as much effort for anet as an entire expansion
-Going to Kourna and elona other then the Crystal desert
theres a leak “papaya” that hints at us going to monsoon oasis “CD”
-Ride the Junundu like in Gw1
Gods YES
-Have the Dervish coming back as an elite spec with the scythe as a new weapon
Hmmm… for which class, and how would it work, it cant be the six gods
-Have the Ritualist as the supporter elite spec for the Necromancer.
Misa approva
-Proper single mission introducion to the elite specs.
yes, please, for them to pop in out of nowhere was kinda weird
-Have the players characters talk between them in the main story so that the other members of the party don’t feel like just random bystanders.
like random chats thrown in the group. If another player’s present, they respond, otherwise an npc responds. What i want back are the racial quips. I missed how norn and asura get treated the same by taimi…
-A branching, interesting and long storyline, with meaningful choices like the main story(the orders storylines), so that it makes sense to replay the full story. I’m missing this so much in Hot…I just played it once and that was it.
yes, but dont expect it to happen, maybe branching routes in missions like HoT did is the best we can expect
-BUILD SAVING
likely to come some day
-Normal camera mixed with the pointing and auto attack of the action camera.
?
-More armors that we had in Hot.
i want that, too, but apparantly theyre very time consuming
-Dungeons to come back
dungeon team is dead. We get fractals and raids
-Small group contents (2-5 players)
could use more of that, yes
-Slap Braham in the face…with a chair
made of steel.. with spikes
-Activities being a proper Pvp mode to play with a party
-Activities like keg brawl to be implemented as guild activities.
-Hidden things with clues to find.
-A cool final boss fight not like the tiny Mordremoth at the end of the Hot story.
-Did I already say BUILD SAVE?Humm and that’s it for now.. well it wasn’t that long of a list in the end
Things I want to see getting done/happening: (not wioth the next expac in general, but as a whole for this game)
- Implementation of own Underwater Traits + Complete Rebalance/Redesign of all Underwater Skills to make Underwater Gameplay for this game GREAT AGAIN and nothing, that Anet desperately tries to remove from GW2, so that nobody remembers anymore, that it was once part of this game’s big marketing features 2012
- Redesign of the Attribute System from Single Effect System to Dual Effect System to strengthen the defensive and supportive effects to become equal with pure DPS in regard of Attribute Synergies and to add new combat elements, that will make combats in GW2 more fun, if these things become part of Class Balance, like Attribute Effects, that will decrease Critical Hit taken fromenemie,s or Attribute Effects, that raise your Endurance Regeneration
- Redesign of the Condition & Boon System (would help massively as well for Game Performance)
- Implementation of Elite Spec Training Sessions, that add lore to the Elite Specs as like the Revenant as new Class, which explain, how Rytlock became a Revenant (I support the Razah Training Theory because that would make sense with Razah beign known as the only unhuman Mist Being that exists in Tyria that could possibly teach Rytlock to make usage of the powers of the mist to become a Revenant, retroactively turning as well Razah from a Ritualist into a Revenant basically for GW2 terms)
- Reimplementation of Season 1 into the game including new Fractals, like a Marionette Fractal, like a Lions Arch Defense Fractal, like an Invasion Fractal that are new types of “Mass Event Fractals” where players of multiple Fractal instances get temporarely thrown together into 1 generated “Mass Instance” for that moment.
- Implementation of Build Save Feature
- Finally implementation of DirectX11 Support at least
- Playable Tengus and redesigned playable Largos
- Complete Redesign/Merge of Base Classes with the first set of Elite Specs, becaue they are all in 80% of all cases uninspired Base Classes 2.0, especially the Daredevil
- After this step, increase the amount of Elite Specs per Class to maximum 5 per Class to increase Build Diversity
- Implementation finally of Jeweler and Chef 500
- Implementation finally of account unlockable Ascended/Legendary Upgrades (for Skill Skins)
- Implementation of Legendary Accessoires (for unique Finishing Moves)
- Implementation of Fishing and Digging as new Gatherign Jobs
- Implementation of Brewing (Now when there are literally Brewmasters, this needs to become a Crafting Job for crafting Potions, Elixiers, Tonic, Alcoholic Drinks and the like)
- Implementation of Mounts, Airships and Ships as new earnable and customizable
Prestige Objects - Implementation of Player Housing and Redesign of Player Instances so that they are not anymore just boring instanced Farm Locations
- Implementation of more Weapon Types, especially Greataxes, Polearms (Glaives, Lances, Spears), Remove Tridents/Harpoon Guns as Weapon Type (merge them with Staffs/Rifles,Harpoon Guns can just count as alterations of rifles with different ammo shooting Bolts instead of Bullets using a different mechanism as well that requires no blackpowder, that explains the change of skin, but as weapon type it should just count as rifle), Chakrams, Claws, Whips, Crossbows and Flails
- Implementation of a Reputation/Quest/Mission (3 in 1) System based on the 3 Orders Vigil, Whispers & Priory
- Expansion of the Fractals into new interesting Sub Modes, like for example Heroic Fractals, which are fractals that work like replaying historic time spans of tyrias History in multiple chapters out of the view of historic characters with their unique Skill Sets – working similar like improved Bonus Mission Packs – if you know them from GW1 – starting with “Ghosts of Ascalon”, turning the book literally into playable content that lets you replay the story of the characters of that novel to experience the story under their view partwise for example as Dougal Keane, partwise as someone else maybe
- Implementation of Camping & Fotography as new Features (FF15 inspiration)
- Redesign of Music Instruments, making it possible to use improved prescriptig Music Scripts automatically similar like in certain other MMORPGs that are known for this feature, like LotRO, or Mabinogi, or even FF14 have a betterm usic system with the instruments, than we do have
- Add more new Music Instruments that are missing, like an Electric Guitar, liek a Triangle, like a Saxophone, like a Xylophone ect. so much potential for more good instruments, (ocarina/ pan flute as well)
god, this is just a small fraction with what I could come up more, so much unused potential has this game to be better than it is now

Very interesting ideas.
However, all I want is a decent UI.
A Decent UI
A DECENT UI!!!!!
One I can customize and eliminate the freaking minimap if I feel like, or hide all the in-game spam if I don’t want to see any notification, or one that allows me to make disappear the “OnMouseOver” skill descriptions that hide a huge portion of my screen. A User Interface that let me put the toolbars wherever I want.
That’s all I want…. a decent UI
sniff
That’s it
I don’t know why everyone always wants a new race as well as more armor sets, it will be one or the other. ANet already has enough trouble making armors that almost fit the current races. It would take them even longer to make new armor sets if they also had to fit on a 6th race, which means we would be getting even fewer armors in the game.
How about we finally stop making excuses like Anet were an indie company and hold them to the AAA standard? They created one of the biggest MMOs, they’re not a small company, they’re the top and I will actually expect the quality and big features like new race. Because the company on the level Anet’s on should be able to do that and I’m sure they’re capable of that.

Regardless of what made up standard you are holding them to, its clear that they have trouble making armor that doesn’t clip with the given races. It doesn’t matter what standard you think they should be held to, they have shown that they have trouble creating armor sets that don’t clip with only 5 races. Adding a 6th one won’t magically allow ANet to make armors that don’t clip…

While you DO have a point. There is a fact you’re missing. Every race available has a completely different body-type. We have small, medium, large, and beastly body types…..meaning that we have literally created all possible types of shapes found in your average mmo…..what makes you think that a new race wont fit into ONE of these categories???? Meaning any new race that they create will be able to fall into one of these categories and armor will be the same for both. You cant see things black and white, look a little deeper.
I think you are viewing it too simplisticly. Yes, GW2 has small, normal and large humanoid figures, and it also has “beastly” body types with Charr/Asura. But that doesn’t mean that these encompass all possible races. Within GW2 itself we already have the Largos (one of the races that I have seen people ask for), which have wings. Can you imagine the clipping that wings would cause considering that ANet still has trouble getting tails to not clip.
Or take Skritt. Yes, they are similar-ish to playable races. But the biggest difference is their arms (and possible legs) are much longer relative to their torso than the playable races in Tyria have. A piece of armor in game with sleeves would end up just a little further down than their elbow on a Skritt rig if it was just scaled down to fit their torso, so even if we did get Skritt (which are the most similar to the playable races), armor pieces would still have to be made to fit a fourth rig.
Or consider quaggans. I don’t know of anyone that has requested to be able to play a quaggan, but they already exist in GW2 universe, and their models are nowhere similar to any of the playable races. Not even close.
I would love it if an artist at ANet could come to this thread and tell me why I am wrong, but I really don’t think that they can. Its just not as simple as you make it out to be unfortunately.

This. Humanoids have basically the same body with some minor differences like height, width and proportions but basically the same. Together with Charr body and Asura body we have 3 body types in the end. Its’ quite notable that Kodan share the body type with Norn and Tengu share the body type with Charr.
And yeah, they have problems with dishing out new armor sets. And yet when those were in gemstore, we had new skins quite often. Just look at the number of new added outfits and the frequency that they appear in gemstore. It’s not hard, it’s more an issue of prioritization and armor skin priority has gone to lower level than it was.

I would like Anet to develop a Guild quest generator.
Here is the idea:
One could basically invent a quest for other guild mates and make endless user created game content.
Choose type: (Kill a chosen mob, kill amounts of X mob, gather items, get to X area, etc.)
Enter quest text.
Go around in Tyria with Quest generator mode active to choose your targets.
Wrap up with rewards you provide.
Quest done. Can be activate anytime.
The quest would act like other quests made by developpers meaning, an color star or arrow would point in the right direction, etc. One quest is done by a single player, it could be re-done as long as there are rewards for it, etc.
Sounds nice?
OceanneSounds nice?
While it does sound cool, it also sounds totally abusable. As in, take two steps out of LA, finish quest, reap reward. OK for a single player game, bad idea for an MMO.

If the rewards were dynamically generated by the quest machine and based around the “difficulty” (which would be a measure of lvl of mobs, amount of mobs, map mobs are in (since some maps have harder mobs) etc….) then it could be alright.
There’s so may things that I want to see happen to this game, but I’m only going to dedicate my thoughts on everything underwater.
Now I know if people had to choose between spending time playing underwater or on land, land would win hands down, and that’s only because playing on land is more fluid, combat movement is better, plus you get to use all your available skills that you have that you can’t use on underwater. For these reasons alone, I think underwater needs to be a completely different experience once you dive into it.
So some improvements I would do are:
Run/walk on water
Swim faster underwater, just like running faster in cities
Shoot up to the surface of the water, kind of like updrafts for gliding, to help get you to the surface faster when you are so far down below
Make the breathing apparatus actually relevant, if you don’t use one, you slowly drown
Add more secret hidden areas/places underwater to discover new anything, from bosses, to lore stuff, etc, etc. Even better, make it a journey to discover and find these things. This is mostly for solo players who want to engage in exploration, and I think we have plenty of those
I can go into the combat system for underwater, but that’s more complicated, and I think small little changes like these would improve underwater exploration better overtime. And of course, all of these would be possible through masteries, even learning how to breath underwater.
If we were to get large amounts of underwater combat with the new expansion, I would want to see a mastery line with is.
- Move faster while in water
- Access to up/down-currents to allow you to surface/dive quickly
- Stealth while dodging underwater (almost exactly the same as stealth gliding)
- Something
- Access to more powerful currents, basically underwater leylines to travel quickly to where you want to go
- All underwater content is marked as complete and all rewards, current and future are handed to you. You’ve shown enough dedication that ANet has decided to never force you to do underwater content again.
Someday, I hope we can go to the Isle of Janthir area and do some exploring. Based on what the characters said in the last LS, I think that hope may come to fruition before the next expansion.
Mostly, I’d like to know what the heck has happened/is happening in Elona. It was my favorite area of GW1. I’m hoping GW2 hangs around long enough that we finally get to go back.
When we get to the point, that we get the Expansion thats all about the Deep Sea Dragon that is focused all about Underwater Content, then I want this:
- Complete Rebalance of all Underwater Skills, these Skills have seen for 4 years by now absolutely no balancing!! So ridiculous its totally absurd!!
- Complete Redesign of all Underwater Skills to make all Skills useable also underwater.
All Skills that can’t be rediesgned whyever to be useable under water, get removed out of the game and replaced with new Skills which can work everywhere. - Implementation of completely own unique Underwater Traits that replace the Land Traits the moment you go into water.
- Making all Class Mechanics work as well under water, so Thieves should be able to stealth underwater as well, they should be able to use there Shadow Steps as well ect. pp. Brief said, going into water should feel for no single class like receiving a massive gameplay disadvantage over fighting outside of water.
- Merge Tridents with Staffs
- Merge Harpoon Guns with Rifles
- Change Spears into Weapons that work everywhere, by turning them into officially “Polearms” as Weapon Type
- Allow more senseful Weapon types to become useable under water (yes, this means new Skills, but means also more overdue Underwater Build Diversity)
Weapons that need to become useable under water:
- Dagger
- Sword
- Axe
- Mace
- Shield
- Focus
- Scepter
- Removal of Swimming Booster, Implementation of Swimming Mastery as one of many new Central Tyria Mastery Lines
Swimming Mastery
1) Master Swimmer – 1 MP needed
Increases your Swimming Speed (PvE only) by 15%
2) Strong Breath – 2 MP needed
You can dive now faster and rise up faster. You can now dive at certain spots in the game deeper than usual too to reach new locations.
3) Apnoe Diving – 3 MP needed
Increases your Maximum Breath by 20% so that the Breather lets you dive longer, before you drown and lose Health over time/s (Drowning Condition works like Burning, not removable, unless you get out of water to get fresh air to refill the Breather, if Health reaches 0, then you are dead, no Downed State). Also the reduction speed of your Breath gets reduced by 15% and fills up faster again when diving up and getting out of water.
4) Fish Fins – 4 AP needed
Allows you to use Fish Fins, further increases your Swimming Speed under watrer to 25% increased Swimming Speed and allows you to surpass also Water Streams that would normally block your way. Now you can swim fast enough to break through them to reach places that were unreachable for you before
5) Dolphin Style – 5 AP needed
Learn the Dolphin Swim Style that grants you in combat some Buffs to fight more effectively against deep sea dragon minions.
—
Total MP needed = 15
- PvP receiving a new Map, which is completely focused around Underwater Combat, lets call this Map for example “Atlantis” as project name
- Add a third WvW Borderline Map thats focused around Underwater Combat, like a Tropic Lagoon Borderline Map with lots of Underwater Caves, Islands, Naval Battles ect.
- Add a new Stronghold Map that is focused around Underwater Combat
- Rework/Rebalance the existing Underwater Content (Fractal) based on the other changes
- Implement compelling interesting Deep Sea Dragon Minions that can fight like amphibians on land, but also in water and are in water, their natural realm alot more challenging to fight against and require of the player good positioning and understanding of their class to overcome them
- Redesign of the Largos Race to make them playable. (Use Human Body Model)
- Implement some new heavy Underwater theme Maps (Sea of Sorrows and Tarnished Coast for example)
- Make the battle against the Deep Sea Dragon something, that requires alot of Underwater Combat, before we force the dragon out of the water for the finale with the help of Livia/Scepter of Orr to finish him off on land after we have weakened him under water enough.
- Remove Downed State from Underwater Combat completely to make Underwater Combat a bit more straight forward and increase therefore for all Classes for underwater Combat the Base Health Values by +10000 HP
If we were to get large amounts of underwater combat with the new expansion, I would want to see a mastery line with is.

+1 to this and other underwater mastery support
