Guild Wars 2

-Ok so lets start i was never a fan of GW1, but GW2 is really awesome game and i played it for over 1300 hours, i have all professions at lvl80, 100% world, i did some pvp/wvw (not much into pvp but i liked it anyway), i did all dungeons SM and EM tho i never liked fractals but ah well, so now i am getting bored and i am wondering if there will be any new professions added in coming few months maybe? or later on? Also i would like to hear your opinion on adding new profession, if you are against it please tell why. I am taking a break from GW2 until ANet get something new

You would have to understand that you are the fringe case… most players haven’t accomplished 1/10th of what you did so they cannot design according to that.

Having said that I’m positive ArenaNet has some fairly meaty stuff in the can that they withheld from release for near term content.

They did already say though that the February and March updates will contain to no races professions or zones.

I guess I’m a bit old school but in my mind new professions is more something you see in an official expansion, not so much in the monthly content patches. Of course I might be wrong and ANet might surprise me, but I like to think that I go through life more often right than wrong (it’s better on my self-esteem that way). There have however been rumours of ANet releasing an expansion within this year, so maybe (if rumours can be believed that is).

As for new professions… I really have no idea since I’m not that heavily into the GW2 lore and never played GW1.

-Hmm i might buy GW1 and play it a bit, how long does it take to get to max level and do all stuff you need for those HoM points? would be nice to pick up some skins while i wait for new stuff in GW2
