Horrorween!
U can only get scared if u are from EU
NA can continue getting bored.
Hmm, well, this was posted on the GW2 Facebook page and I thought it was an official announcement thingee. Oops. That’s what I get for not reading the fine print. Anyway, hope you Aurora Glade guys have fun!

Or they can, you know, organize something as well?

Or they can, you know, let us play on that server for that event as well? The server making it can only win from that move. I am from EU and play on NA…almost no lag at all..so lag is not an issue.
Anyway the problem is how they communicated this. If u see 90% of reactions..people thought it was a global thing. But i am not surprised anet excels at communication fkups. GLHF on Aurora with the event hope u have fun If u ask me it’s sad when u see the community doing more for the game then the developers do.

That would suggest that 90% of the people reacting are unable to read simple sentences seeing as the post on Facebook contains this part:
“Horrorween”, the fan event, will soon be upon us, so look alive! Join Mad Queen Malafide and her loyal snowman Daniel Frozenwind on Aurora Glade, in Lion’s Arch, on Friday the 24th of October, starting at 7PM CEST (11AM PDT)!
How is it not clear that it was specified to the Aurora Glade server?

Maybe look at it not as a knock against anet (or people who didn’t read the fine print, ahem), but as a ‘dang, good job!’ for Aurora Glade, because the pic and the poem presented on FB are pretty darned good.
@lordkrall that piece of info is in the detailed view of the pic. I don’t have the time to read 50 rows of text just to see “fan event” in an obscure corner. The “Fan event” info should have been the first info in that text. It would have benefited all..specially making people doing these events, seem involved.
As they put it now very few will notice. Perfect example is the poster himself who copied the first part of the info. It’s not about being lazy….it’s about not having the time to invest into things like these. Most of the time u need to multitask anyway. That’s why a PR department should know what to communicate.
