This has bothered me for quite some time and figured I’d bring it up again after playing my Ele more lately. Maybe something productive could happen with the future of skills being considered~

This is regarding these two signets; Shadow for Thief and Air for Elementalist. Both of these Signets have the same Passive (Movement Speed) and Active (AOE Blind); except Elementalist version has 2 additional features: Air does damage and breaks stun. So yeah, same exact skill except Elementalist has a far superior version.
I’ve always assumed this to be an oversight that was never reevaluated because in early development Signet of Shadows actually had a different active, which was a 1200 ranged Immobilize for a few seconds. They ended up changing it for some reason, but considering the changes to the class over time, such as Revealed being added for example, and the mobility of other classes trampling over Thief’s it wouldn’t really be that big of deal to restore it’s original purpose or find a new use for it. Unless people actually find the blind useful? I didn’t use it personally.
I have Traveler runes so I probably still wouldn’t use it unless it received a truly outstanding active~ I just personally find it uncreative to have an inferior and superior version of the same skill out there between too classes. Although back when I did use it before Travelers I still never found the active to be of much use.

Please Remove/Fix Thief Trait: “Last Refuge.”
