Hello,

A long time goal of mine is obtaining Twilight. I was wondering whether buying it off the TP or farming the materials for it myself would be best. I’m thinking time-wise. Tips would be very appreciated, as I’m very unsure of what to do.

If you have 500 bucks laying around, then that would be fastest. Otherwise, work for it.

I would also recommend waiting a month or so for precursor prices to drop. Once guild missions get in full swing, even if .5% of people get precursors, you should see a nice price drop.

If you REALLY want to be frugal, wait for the scavenger hunt.

When I said buying it off the TP I meant farming the gold for it

I’m not biased…I have only read what was posted here.

Buying it takes time to gather gold and then acquiring it.

Making it seems to make sad clowns of people towards those just buying it. Cause it takes a long time AND money to do so.

As far as the people I know to have made them…you get a way better feeling from it than anything else. My guildies are elated after they finish. And we all (in the guild) know what they have accomplished.

I know that I will never have the patience though….or the gold

The best way to obtain Twilight is to go to the video store and rent it out. However I would advise against this, as it would be less painful to construct the ingame sword of the same name yourself than having to sit through the movie (unless you happen to like sparkly vampires).

That’s why I’m making it a long term goal. I’ve never acquired a legendary in any game, but I’m digging Twilight so much!

Just know that Twilight and Sunrise don’t count towards the Legendary weapon achievement or the account medallion at the moment. Only Eternity does.
