Ok. So we got the option, finally, to turn off Player Chatter. Can we not get an option to turn off both the text and the voice of the Job-O-Tron? It’s bad enough that in the middle of a battle you keep hearing that stupid thing over and over again, but then to have it’s speech bubble blocking the action is ridiculous (unless it was something else, in the heat of the battle, I heard the voice and saw a speech bubble pop…could have been a coincidence).

Unless there’s already an option to turn both of these off, can we please have one for unnecessary item chatter? Call it:

“Useless Chatter”

It would cover all mini sounds, toy sounds, backpack sounds, and ridiculous looping NPC chatter (“If you’re Marjory you have to give me a kiss!”, “I’m rich you know?”, ad nauseam)

It’s bad enough that the copper-fed has pointless things to say when I salvage. They should have made that sort of thing player specific, and no speech bubble. If I wanted to hear and see stupid remarks from backpacks and harvesting tools I would have bought them.

Oh Man. I had no idea the copper-fed salvage thing spoke too. It’s bad enough with the clown harvesting tool. I can’t imagine hearing something talk each time you salvage something.

I for one, still find the copper-fed salvageomatic funny. I also bought and use the backpack golem and bought all 3 harvester golems. I find them fun! Just my opinion

That’s fine if you bought them and you like what you bought. That’s not the point though. The OP was talking about if you don’t own them and still have to hear what they say unless you turn off dialogue or see what the Job o tron says when they’re nearby, whether you want to or not.

I don’t mind them at all, in fact, they still make me chuckle every time I hear them. But I do agree for those who don’t want to hear them they should be able to turn the sounds off. Personally I would love to be able turn off a certain legendary tortured sparkle pony….
