How about making shields skin be applied as a backpiece look?

As topic says, i would love this idea seriously! Would be kittenly awesome to see this change happen, just imagine people in Spvp/WvW guild runs and represent their own guild sigil on the shield, example “Guild Defender” this could be great for Spvp hardcore players playing tpvp to get some requisition, this would be making pvp being a bit more competitive! And be great in PvE guilds aswell

What would do you people think about thIs? Would this be a good good idea?

When I use a shield, it shows up stowed on the back of my character, so I don’t understand what you’re asking for.

I believe they’re asking for shield skins to be useable as back skins, so that: (a) classes which don’t use shields can look like they’re wearing one; and (b) classes that do use shields can look like they still have one on their back even when their real shield is in their left hand.

Oh. Well, there are guild backpieces, too.

Yea but i mean you must think outside the box, if they should inplace use a system, then it should do like if you already got a shield equipped you wouldn’t be able to use it as backpack skin. You get my drift?
