101 mb downloaded – 0% – 5600 files remain?!

any idea on how big MB or GB it is, just wonderin if theres any leak of this info before anyone has Dl’d the whole thing?

im @ 1% atm wich is 300MB.

Well im at 4% with around 500mb dowloaded so doing the math itll be roughly 10gigs give or take?

you cant judge by % cause the % shows the % of files not MB/GB

Wow I cant believe you all haven’t realized from either GW or GW2 that the % is an indication of the number of files downloaded not the size of the total download.

well i guess ill take a nap till tomorrow then.. man i was havin some serious fun too! lol

The Percentage relates to the AMOUNT of files downloaded/left though. Not the size of them. So it is possible there are just a few very large files at the begining and the rest are small. But I fear this is not the case. My internet bill really can’t handle a 10GB downloaded on top of regular usage. Anet Quaggan says Foo!

Yeah I’m at 2% still, it’s been a while. Doesn’t help that everyone and their grandmother is downloading it at the same time, either.

why the hell don’t they just post the patch size in the patch notes on the announcements page, i mean it seems like common sense to me, some people have slow connections or d/l limits and some people actually have social lifes so an idea when it would be done would be handy.

LMAO. Try living in a country where the speed doesn’t go past 850kb/s, I actually consider my internet to be really fast for achieving that. First world problems much!

Holy kitten! And this patch is “small”. How freaking huge is the Feb and March pathes going to be?

Percentage is based on files remaining. Something I’ve always hated about GuildWars games.

Yeah, nothing to worry about, the big files were at the beginning of the download so percentage goes very slowly at the beginning.

Its approx 5775 files and its slow going but then it zips to around 32% all of a sudden around at apprx 4750 files remaining.. then steading going then onwards so I am guessing around 10-15mins to download in full

i live in canada and the internet here sucks considering, best speeds i can get are 750kb/s and i live in a pretty big city with a university and a college.
