… compared to Exotic?

I just came back from a year-long break. I have full Ascended accessories but I only have Exotic weapon and armor. How big of a disadvantage am I at because of my gear?

90% of people will probably not even notice and the other 10% will most likely only see that difference in PvP.

depend on build really.

For example my guardian with berserker gear and defense traits. Adding a weapon add 5.45% damage and a tiny bit more percision and crit damage.

Adding full set of 6 armor add in a tiny damage(less than 1%??) and 2.78% damage reduction

Basically the stats boost for armor is miniscure but you do get some more damage reduction.

I think weapon is quite important since ascended weapon boost quit a bit of damage.

The only ascended gear worth having is weapons and trinkets. Armor is nice but once you have weapons and trinket the difference the Armor makes is really quite marginal (really not worth the mats, time, and annoyance of time gating.)

Be careful what you wish for, Anet might just give it to you “HoT”
