I need 600 of them for 2 weapons.

Their drop rate is so low it really is driving me insane. I mean, I’ve spent so many hours trying to collect this crafting mat and so far all I’ve gotten is 31 cores and 5 lodestones. How am I supposed to gather this crafting mat without having to constantly grind for money?

Farm CoE and pray you get good luck, as well as buying more with profit. That’s as good as it gets, unless you want to play the TP or farm CoF p1 to death (CoE > CoF in terms of being able to bear the torture).

speedrun CoF path 1 (don’t give me the excuse you’re not a zerk war… I’m a guardian) then buy them … that’s what I just did for sunrise… not that hard if you invest a little time in it

daily fractals (10,20,30,40,50) and hitting every event in the game every day only makes it that much faster – and the event part takes all of half an hour at most

Is CoE better than farming sparks?

The Devs said they are going to make additional ways to get these.

There is no easy way out. Simple as that.

Grinding for lodestones/cores is the same as grinding for money. The only difference is that you don’t sell them. So if we just look at lodestones as currency here, CoE and CoF will get you the most for your time spent.

Hope for the best to see changes to the drops after the summer. If you can wait that long :/

- Dwayna temple event. Chest gives chance at Charged core/lodestone
- Bag of Theoretical Materials

Run COE. You will have a pretty decent chance at a core and a rare chance at a lodestone.

If you run COE enough, it can become just as profitable if not more profitable than COF. You just have to know the Subject Alpha fight and the paths become trivial.

Farming sparks really is a horrible method because the drop rates are ridiculously low.

CoE until you puke. Then dump the bucket and keep going.

I did get a few from Orrian Jewelry Boxes from the Karma vendors in Orr. Three out of about 350 boxes.

And seriously grind the gold out in between. You simply wont get the amount of stones you need in a reasonable timeframe without buying most of them.

There are some things in the game you can ONLY get by farming. Obviously they want you to farm.

I didn’t mean there were not things that needed to be farmed or that farming was bad.

I just meant it is obvious by their constant nerfing that they really don’t want you to farm.

You do not need to farm for anything that you NEED. You may have to farm for things you WANT. That is an important distinction.

How can you farm UB Fractal? I didn’t think mobs respawned in there.

How can you farm UB Fractal? I didn’t think mobs respawned in there.

Leave and re-enter until you get it. Seems very tedious, the daily chest also seems to have cores for 10+.
