It just seems that Toxic Alliance has been molesting people in Kessex Hills for far too long, and the fact that a new mysterious power source has emerged from out of nowhere threatening everyone in the zone.

I was wondering why the wizard hasn’t taken his elementals and his floating tower to go have a look see and maybe nuke it from orbit
Or since it is a player heroic effort, at least park his tower at the camp- the battle of the towers hee haa

You mean there’s a mesmer out there powerful enough to conjure an illusion of a giant floating castle, and no one has heard of them? Perhaps the Mursaat were behind the tower this whole time…I hear they love illusions.

Or even Scarlet’s Alliances? I mean they hid the Nightmare Tower for long enough…
Makes sence since there’s an Inquest lab nearby in the village and we know Scarlet has a long collaboration with the Inquest

There was a mesmer who managed to conceal the entirety of the Tower of Nightmares and did it so well even the Priory wasn’t able to break it until Kasmeer (no idea how she did it) came along. Annise was also able to make a clone of Jennah that was so realistic that even Logan, her lover and who was standing right next to her the whole time, didn’t notice.

It wouldn’t be out of the picture.

The real question in that case would be why. Come to think of it, we never found out who concealed ToN.

The whole story of the wizard and the tower has never sat right with me. Maybe I’m just cynical but I don’t trust him.

All the villages seemed just a little bit too happy about the situation, like they were afraid to say anything negative and it seems strange that no one ever seems to go in or out.

It wouldn’t surprise me if he wasn’t actually there, or had died a long time ago, or seemingly paid no attention to anything going on in the area to avoid drawing attention to himself and what he’s actually doing in there.
