Guild Wars 2

New players are introduced to a bunch of characters in Living Story 2. Their history and experience with the player is never really explained. There should be some ‘recap’ that explains what happened in Living Story 1. Perhaps show some cut scenes… some text… something. Also, in-zone “historians” would be a cool addition to talk about the environments before Living Story 1 messed everything up.

The first steps of the LS2 fills nicely the LS1 story, when you investigate about Scarlet, her reasons and that stuff , is all you actually need to know from LS1.

Your best bet tolearn about ls1 is the wiki. Might also check wooden potatoes channel on youtube. I think hesaid recently hes working on a recap for all s1

Thanks for this, I never logged in during LS1 really save for one thing, and even then, I only was on for about an hour before going to another MMORPG / game.

I’ll summarize it:

There was a sylvari. She was crazy and blew stuff up. Before dying she woke up a dragon.
