How do I murder Super Bananas...

I think the people who use them don’t play with sound on.
I have the sound off for them. I hear nothing. (Smiles happily).
ANet may give it to you.

How do you disable mini sounds? I can’t find that option.
Can confirm, have muted game sound permanently because of these.

I find the hero tron backpack much worse.
As often as these threads show up, im just surprised they dont implement a mute option for minis, i know its not as simple as we all make it sound, but still it would be a nice QOL feature.

It’s not one specific for minis but turns off a bunch of background sounds. Not sure which one it is, but I never hear the mini pet sounds. Maybe it’s the one that turns off sounds such as footsteps, etc.

Effects volume. Actually had to wait around for several minutes because the banana wasn’t making noises often enough. :P
… but that also silences stuff like the sound of your weapon swinging.
On a side note… why does everyone have a super banana?

Got mine a few weeks ago from the BLC when it was a thing again.
I hate the banana! And the other super minis are pretty annoying - the noise goes right through me!
I’d ask for a separate sound channel for the minis, and other items which do not hold a direct gameplay consequence - so things such as Job-o-Tron backpack, the raven mail carrier (just posted on this in a different thread), etc. can be muted without impairing important effects such as combat related noises. How easy this is to implement, however, I don’t know. I imagine there are some more important things to be working on. I’d just like to have this down as akin to a QoL adjustment for future implementation, given there’s been so many threads on the subject already.
Not sure what the problem is :P
I love all the SAB mini sounds. I only have 3 minis though <.<
Good job we can’t have more than 1 mini out at one time…. The noise would kill you. xD
The worst part is when someone brings their banana into the captain’s airship. Half of the reason why the ship is so awesome to have access to is the complete freedom from repetitive NPC lines.
I’m a bit lost here. What are those? Why are they annoying?
Eh, noted. I’ll keep all dialogue Minis away from instanced zones. :P
No promises to main citys though, with all them afk’rs.

Id honestly say youtube the sound, and then listen to it over and over again.
It’s odd, the first time this came up on the forums I didn’t even realize that it made sound, let alone any other mini’s…but then again I have selective hearing, if it’s something I don’t want to listen to, I just tune it out…or I just ignore it if it’s irrelevant…or listen to my own music which tends to drown out all GW2 sounds(including the music).

Also Tron backpack. And Quip. And the Dreamer. And Salvage-o-matic.
God freaking kitten Arenanet. Last time I checked, discouraging your players from hearing your game’s sound = doing it wrong. Get it together.
