Guild Wars 2

A few minutes ago I joined a CoF dungeon group. There was a thief who could “outrun” you without speedbuff. No boons, no Signet, nothing. He was warping all over the place. It looked like rubberbanding. He could also jump/fly. I wanted to report him, but there was no option for that, so I went for “botting”.

My question is. How do I report someone who is obviously hacking?

As stated, botting is an acceptable option for these situations. You can also use the Customer Support option. If you choose this, please submit as much evidence as possible with the report. That way you will help the CS team. Videos or pics are useful.

Also, remember to never post names or pics in the forums accusing someone of hacking.

“Botting” is more or less treated the same as hacking when you report, you did it the right way.

Botting wont work really. They will only check if it’s using some automated program.

If it was the person itself doing that, Botting wont flag anything far I can know.

What I hate is that we can’t add descriptions to Reports that doesn’t fit in Category, but still a violation of the TOS of the game.

The best way for somethings is complain by ticket for do a report that you can’t do in-game.
