How do i make gold??
You need lead and the Philosopher’s Stone. Actually, anything will do, as long you have the Stone…
More seriously, by accumulating. You can do any of the things you’ve mentioned; what is termed “flipping” is the one you haven’t (buying / selling on the auction house). There isn’t any other way to do it, bar pulling out your credit card…
Sw. Breach, labirinth then cf, rinse and repeat. Low lvl dungeons like AC and CoF also gives you gokds + tokens. WvW is a bad way to get golds, but if you have loads of badges you can buy siege and sell it on tp.
There are a few ways to grab gold:
- World bosses
- Dungeons
- Dungeon selling(solo)
- Flipping
- Vinewrath
- SW chest farm
- Guess the prices; Buy when it’s cheap and sell it later when it spikes. gw2spidy can help a bit
- Harvest stuff and sell(for example platinum and wood in sparkfly fen) if you run out of better options
- craft and sell
- Daily pvp reward for reward track, Daily WvW
You could try experimenting with the Mystic Forge.
I know this has been asked a billion times, all those times people say “SW cf” or “champ trains” or “dungeons”, but the thing is i did all those thing and i barely get 8g profit an hour.
How the heck do people who amass hundreds of gold do it, do they farm 6 hours everyday of the week , is the RNG gods plotting to screw me over??
I’m a man of simple pleasures and limited time, WvW is what i do 90% of the time, and 10% of the time i spend trying to get gear that isn’t complete garbage and painful to look at.
So what am i doing wrong here??, i usually salvage everything using copper fed salvage o matic except rares and exotics, and i sell all my mats.
so 8 gold per hour and you could run half the time you suggest here of 3 hours instead of 6. If you farm 5 days a week in stead of 7, that is 120 gold a week. One month later you would already be up to…480g.
I make almost double that for a SW run. If you get bored alternate with other farms like bosses or trains or maybe a bit of dungeons if you like them.
You literally don’t have any other choice…
-SW
-dungeons
-tp flip
-farming mats for sale
-crafting for sale (this seems like it would be the worst way to me)
-trains/bosses world or other
-buy it
this is how everyone within the game is actually getting “rich”. Like most other scenarios of reality there are generally fewer rich people and most did not get rich working for it.

Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
only 2 ways to earn gold efficiently :
1/ credit card
2/ TP flipping and speculation
TP flipping only works if you already have enough gold to flip, otherwise it’s a no go.
also, you need to flip the right item with enough benefit, non need to flip if it only earns you 10 copper per item.
Give them your credit card and make it rain with gold.
Crystal Desert
I keep hearing SW is great for gold? Can you just do the small events and chest farm or do you need to keep being taxi-ed to the big events?
So what exactly do you do to make the big gold in SW?
For vinewrath grab a taxi
For chest farm grab keys, shovels and a taxi
For the double event grab a 50-100% SW
8g an hour is pretty decent.
If you want more I guess you can look into ways in how to profit from the tp while you’re farming in sw.

I heartily endorse this as well. It’s long, but you can read a little and keep coming back to it. People are happy to answer any specific questions you might have.
Have you got many alts? If so, another option is to park all your alts out in Malchor’s Leap near the Elder tress. Log in on them all every 15-20 mins and cut the trees for foxfires. It can be pretty good for little work. Sure it’s not a guaranteed fast farming but it can be something to do to break things up.
Tip: go to PvP lobby to bank/use BLTC Vendor, no need to head into a city. You can leave PvP too and go back to your exact spot before you entered the lobby.
