How do people find dungeon groups these days?
They added a Looking For Group tool to the game, I don’t remember when exactly but it was a while ago.
Open your contacts menu (now called Contacts and Looking For Group) and click the magnifying glass icon.
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
Press y. LFG tool on left hand side of pop up. Go under dungeons. Select dungeon. Create LFG or join existing one. Note the requirements some have.
The game has a nifty new system placed in your ‘Friends’ tab. It’s a LFG tool that allows you to click on whatever you wish to play and see, join or create parties for said dungeon, fractal or other something that you may want to do. Press Y or your friend tab button, and look for the tool in the upper left of the box. It’s a wonderful tool that is everything you wanted from gw2lfg.com but put into the game itself.
‘y’ triggers lfg? I was wondering!
It works well though, also lets you weed out the people you really don’t want to be running with anyways (usually people that have things like “HEAVIES ONLY” in their descriptions)
Protip: People often put dungeon runs in the ‘open world’ section. This is useful both to check if your category is empty, and also a thing to look out for yourself.
