Guild Wars 2

This is something I’m finding quite annoying of late.

Everytime my character surfaces, there’s water splatted all over the screen?

In my opinion, this is an unnecessary function, I can tell the difference between underwater and above water without this particle effect!

Is there a way to disable the water splash particles so I stop seeing them?

Try setting animation to low in the graphics options.

The splash is post-processing I think, turn that down/off and it should be removed but this will also remove any bloom effects etc.

It’s set to none currently.

I assume that means I’m stuck with the water bubbles.

Is it me or was Guild Wars 2 designed to “screen spam”?

Damage scrollers, Purge Conditions, etc.

They all pop up on screen and I haven’t found a way to disable any of it!
