Figured it would be fun to see how Raptors look with different dyes. Post your screenshots here with the chosen dye!

I am using Bloodstone Dark Indigo on mine. I love how the iridescent sheen works with the scales!

Too many hues blended right into the default colors for me. I found that Cyanide gives a very nice contrast — and yes, I do like all the shinier dyes for the scales, so I also looked at various Enameled colors.

Yup! On the dye panel, there should be a button next to your helmet slot that will let you swap to mounts. Raptors only have one dye channel, but it can certainly look good!

They are and they aren’t — you get one dye channel. The blue portions on my picture above are the parts that dye. The rest stays at default color.

When in your dye panel you will see a sort of horseshoe icon in a box at the top next to a main dye panel box. Click that to swap to mount view; click the main icon to go back to armor/glider dyes.

Finally figured out that was a horseshoe, after seeing it elsewhere. Lol.

I’ve re-dyed my Raptor soo many times. The Enameled Dyes are nice. Currently, it’s wearing a light moss-type of green. I wish the colors would stand out just a bit more. I’m hoping ‘other’ skins, should we get them’ allow more and/or better dyeing.

Here’s a simple Seafoam (common) dye.

Permafrost so we match. I’m hoping for a couple more dye channel options. Perhaps two on the Raptor and some for the saddle/reins.

I used Rosewood for mine. I really like the red/gold contrast of his scales

Having 1 dye channel is pretty pathetic, they more or less all look the same, but I get it, because Anet will obviously add gem store raptor skins that allow more dye channels, but right now these raptors are nothing to show off…

I’ve been dyeing mine Turquoise, I really like the color and I’ll probably used Rosewood and Blacklight for my other main toons.

I used Celestial on my mount, Claraa.
